A hot RUME mug and an iced RUME by a window

Your RUME has arrived

Finally, a latte that meets you where you are. The way it always should’ve been. Let’s make that first cup — we can’t wait for you to try it.

How to make the perfect latte

There’s nothing like the first sip of your new favorite drink. We’ve got some tips below for how to get that café quality you deserve. Trust us, we’ve made like a thousand of these — this is exactly how we do it, hot or iced.

Hot

1
Add a serving of RUME powder to your mug.
2
Add a splash of hot water — it should fill to just above where the powder sits.
3
Mix with a handheld frother until smooth (about 10-15 seconds). If with a spoon, stir it more vigorously.
4
Top off with the rest of the water and enjoy.

Iced

1
Fill your shaker with 8-10oz of room temp / cool water and your RUME powder. We prefer a cocktail shaker, but protein shakers work just fine.
2
Shake thoroughly for about 15 seconds (like you’re making your favorite cocktail or a protein shake).
3
Pour over ice and enjoy.

Make it yours

Here are some of our favorite pro tips gathered from our team and other RUME customers.

Want a stronger cup?

Use a little less water. We’ve found anywhere from 8–10oz is the sweet spot — and since the powder mixes in, your latte ends up slightly larger than the amount of water you poured.

Making it iced?

Keep the ice in your glass, but drop two extra cubes in the shaker too. It’s a customer trick that makes it noticeably creamier (and more refreshing).

Making it hot?

Move the frother around while mixing. Oh, and extra emphasis on filling water to “just above where the powder sits” for the first pour. Filling it all the way up before mixing is likely to create overflow (we’ve learned this the hard way too many times).
